Dogs & Druids: Domesticated Animals Training (RPG Economics)

The Dark Ages W hen many table top role playing games were first published, much of the common knowledge around animal training, particularly of dogs, was full of bad information. There were pioneers emerging in the field, and some of them use ancient techniques, but in the US during the 1980s and 1990s a lot of the things ordinary people thought they knew about animals were very wrong. And most role playing games are set in medieval fantasy worlds, historical knowledge of animal training techniques from that era is incomplete, but at least some of it was very cruel. So RPG writers can easily be forgiven for thinking Druids would be mostly suspicious of humans and that powers like the ability to communicate with animals via animal telepathy or use healing touch on animals wouldn't change much.
